Which Shopware plugins keep their promise?
One in three plugin problems starts with a Shopware update. We crawled the entire store and analysed which extensions and vendors survive updates, what ratings really tell you, and what a fair plugin costs. Sign up and you get the report first.
The report ships in autumn 2026. Subscribers get it first.
No sales brochure, just numbers from the store itself: ratings, update complaints, pricing models, and adoption of every listed extension. Plus a checklist to run through before every plugin purchase. For merchants who do not want an abandoned plugin blocking their shop.
What the report covers, in short.
35% of all critical reviews concern update breakage
Compatibility problems after a Shopware release are the most common reason for bad ratings. The report shows how often that happens per vendor, so you know before you buy, not after the next update.
72% of all plugins have fewer than 100 installs
2,557 of 3,571 listed extensions stay below 100 installs, and 1,091 below 10. A plugin with a handful of users may not be maintained through the next major release.
Rank one does not mean most used
The store sorts by "recommended". Rating and category breadth determine the order, not adoption. The report explains how to read a store rating.
Two price patterns, little in between
Small utilities at 5 to 10 euros a month, premium with a measurable benefit at 25 to 49 euros. The report shows what is usual per category, so you know when a price is out of line.

Where does the data come from? +
From our own crawl of store.shopware.com on 28 July 2026. It covers 3,629 extensions, 553 vendors, 5,969 pricing models, and 86 categories. Descriptions, prices, and ratings come from the store API, adoption from the download figures on the product pages.
What does the report cost? +
Nothing. You sign up with your e-mail address, confirm it once, and receive the report as soon as it is finished. After that we only write when there is something substantial, such as new analyses or whitepapers. Unsubscribe any time with one click.
Who is the report for? +
For merchants facing a plugin decision or checking their plugin stack before the next Shopware update. And for anyone selecting extensions for a shop who wants to know which vendors reliably keep up.
Who is behind it? +
nuonic Digital, a Shopware agency from Hamburg and Munich. We build extensions and shops ourselves and originally built the crawler for our own planning. The report is the by-product.
