Shopware migration without revenue loss.

Shopware 5 is end-of-life, Magento is getting expensive, the old shop is slowing you down? We migrate to Shopware 6 — plan, data and rankings intact.

Go-live without downtime. Rankings stay. The date holds.
Starting point

The right time was yesterday.

A migration doesn't get cheaper when you postpone it. It only gets more urgent.
Shopware 5 no longer receives security updates, Magento 1 shops run on borrowed time, and every custom feature built on a dying platform is money lost. We migrate from Shopware 5, Magento, OXID and WooCommerce to Shopware 6 — not as copy-paste, but as a planned system change: data, custom code, integrations and SEO substance come along. Whatever no longer carries its weight stays behind.
Migration process

Five steps to the new system.

1
Migration audit

Inventory of shop, plugins, custom code and data. The result is a migration plan with effort and date — not a guess.

2
Data migration

Products, customers, orders and media — fully migrated and verified in test runs before anything goes live.

3
Features & integrations

Plugins are replaced or rebuilt, ERP and payment connections rewired — update-safe instead of glued together.

4
SEO preservation

A redirect concept for every URL, meta and structured data, a performance budget. Your rankings are capital — we bring them along.

5
Go-live & operations

Switchover without downtime, monitoring from minute one, hypercare in the first weeks. Then ongoing support under SLA.

Why nuonic

Migration is a matter of trust.

The most common migration damage is invisible: lost rankings, broken redirects, creeping revenue decline. That's why we treat SEO preservation as a core part of the migration — with a measurable before/after.

planned downtime at go-live across our migrations.

Rankings stay

Complete redirect mapping and technical SEO are part of the migration — not an afterthought once the traffic is gone.

Fixed timeframe

A migration plan with a binding go-live date. The old shop keeps selling until the new one demonstrably takes over.

No legacy ballast

We migrate the business, not the baggage. Dead plugin inventory and organic sprawl end at the system boundary.

Senior hands

Migration is surgery on live revenue. Ours is performed by the engineers who know Shopware down to the core.

Migration paths

Four roads to Shopware 6.

Shopware 5 → 6

The overdue classic

Shopware 5 is end-of-life — without security updates, every month gets more expensive. Shopware 6 isn't a new version, it's a new architecture. We migrate data and business logic, not old code, and use the switch for a clean re-cut of your processes.

Magento → Shopware

Out of the complexity trap

Running Magento binds developer capacity the mid-market invests better elsewhere. Moving to Shopware 6 lowers operating complexity and TCO — attributes, categories and customer accounts translate losslessly into the Shopware data world.

WooCommerce & OXID

From plugin stack to platform

What started as a lean shop often ends as a fragile plugin tower. Shopware 6 ships a commerce core, rule builder and B2B capability out of the box — the migration replaces dozens of plugins with system features.

Shopify → Shopware

When renting should become owning

Growing transaction fees, limits in B2B and customization, data in someone else's hands — merchants who need control over margin and processes migrate to Shopware. We calculate beforehand at which revenue the switch pays off.

Who it's for

Migration isn't an end in itself — it's a calculation.

Where we're not the right fit
  • Moves without a reason — if you're scaling happily, stay.
  • Copy-paste migrations that preserve old mistakes.
  • Projects where SEO preservation comes "later".
Where we're the right fit
  • Shopware 5 shops that need an exit plan — now.
  • Magento, OXID and WooCommerce merchants with growing operating burden.
  • Shopify merchants hitting fee or feature limits.
FAQ

Migration questions.

How long does a Shopware migration take? +

Between six weeks and six months, depending on data volume, custom code and integrations. After the migration audit we commit to a date — any number before that would be guessed.

What does a migration to Shopware 6 cost? +

Simple shops start in the low five-figure range; complex systems with ERP integration and custom features sit above that. The audit produces a reliable number — details and cost blocks are on our pricing page.

Is my shop offline during the migration? +

No. The old shop keeps running unchanged while the new system is built and tested in parallel. The switchover itself happens without planned downtime.

What happens to my Google rankings? +

They stay — provided the migration includes complete redirect mapping, clean meta and structured data, and equal or better performance. Exactly that is part of every migration we do, including before/after measurement in Search Console.

How long can I keep running Shopware 5? +

Technically as long as you like, economically not. Official support has ended — without security updates, every day carries growing risk for data breaches and PCI compliance. Plan today and you migrate in control instead of under pressure.

Can you migrate from Magento, OXID or WooCommerce? +

Yes. The process is the same — audit, data migration, features, SEO preservation, go-live. The source platform changes the effort, not the method.

Will my plugins and theme carry over? +

Plugins are evaluated, not blindly carried along — most have a Shopware 6 equivalent, a system feature or a leaner custom rebuild. The design is transferred to the new storefront or deliberately modernized; a one-to-one clone of the old technology would be the most expensive option.

How does the data migration work technically? +

Through repeatable, scripted imports into a staging environment — products, customers, orders, media. Every run is verified against checksums and samples. Only when the test run is clean does the final data state go live.

What's the difference between an update and a migration? +

An update raises the same architecture to a new level — plannable in hours to days. A migration changes the architecture or platform, with data transfer and a rebuild of customizations. Shopware 5 to 6 is therefore a migration, not an update — planning it as an update is how budgets fail.
